All Eyes Are on The Sky in The Gripping Official Trailer for Jordan Peele's 'Nope'
Jordan Peele shared the official trailer for his new film, Nope, on Twitter late last night.
Just days after unveiling a cryptic teaser for the film, a full and fright-filled preview of Jordan Peele's Nope has arrived.
The award-winning director shared the official trailer late last night on Twitter (see below,) offering the best look yet at what appears to be Peele's take on the alien invasion horror motif. The two-minute clip opens with a brief intro to the film's horse-handling main characters, who are portrayed by Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer. The duo seems to spend their time tending to horses on a farm in the desert, hoping to catch their break as handlers for film and TV producers. That is until a large dark cloud descends upon their town, terrorizing locals and animals alike. There's a (very) brief shot of what looks like the top of an alien's head in one frame, the speculation over Peele's entry into the UFO side of sci-fi horror.
Nope marks Peele's return to the director's chair. He wrote the screenplay for 2021's Candyman, but handed the director's duties to Nia DaCosta (who's set to make her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe within the next few years, helming The Marvels, a sequel to the comic book giant's 2019 film, Captain Marvel.)
Watch the official trailer for Jordan Peele's Nope below along with a shorter spot for the film that aired during the Superbowl LVI broadcast. See it in theaters on July 22nd, 2022.
