As Hypebeast has pointed out, an image of the De La Soul x Nike SB Dunk Low surfaced via sneaker and streetwear boutique Project Blitz.
Similar to the album cover that inspired it — De La's AOI: Bionix — the sneaker bears a resemblance to the silver outfits the members are wearing, the leather covering the upper part of the shoe.
This isn't the first time the rap group and Nike have collaborated. They've released two Dunk Highs and two Dunk Lows, all inspired by the trio's seminal debut album 3 Feet High and Rising.
Earlier this year came news that De La are going to release new music.
Pete Rock previously took to Twitter to share that he and DJ Premier were producing something for the group and that it’d be released this year.
Maseo then confirmed that the projects they're working on with Rock and Premier are the follow-up to And the Anonymous Nobody, and a third installment of the Art Official Intelligence series.
