A Massive New Michael Jackson Mural Popped Up in New York City

A gorgeous Michael Jackson mural has popped up in the Lower East Side section of New York City.

The Mural, which is located on 11th street and 1st avenue, features Michaels face split, half as a child and half an adult. The mural was done by famous Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, who has painted around 500 murals in over 17 countries around the world.
(Last year Kobra did the awesome David Bowiemural in Jersey City.)

This isn't the only Michael Jackson celebration happening in the city this month. On August 25th, Spike Lee will be throwing his eighth annual "Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson Block Party." The free public event will be on Stuyvesant Ave. Between Lexington Ave. And Quincy Street, from noon to 7PM.
