Artists & Celebrities Will Wear White Roses at the 2018 Grammys to Support the #TimesUp Movement
Expect to see a lot of white roses on Sunday evening
Artists and musicians will wear white roses to the Grammys on Sunday in support of the #TimesUp movement. According to Billboard, the move was planned by by Roc Nation senior VP Meg Harkins and head of rhythm promotions at Interscope/Geffen/A&M records, Karen Rait.

The demonstration was thought of when Harkins and Rait realized no one in the music industry had come up with a plan to show support to the #TimesUp movement. (Two weeks ago, celebrities wore all-black to the Golden Globes to show their support of the movement.) They chose the white rose because it was "practical" and the color white was connected to the suffragette movement.

After reaching out to their contacts a number of artists have already confirmed that they will wear white roses. This includes Rapsody, Halsey, Rita Ora, Kelly Clarkson, Cyndi Lauper, Tom Morello, and more.
The #TimeUp movement is collection of celebrities banding together to combat sexual harassment in Hollywood and other fields of work.
