Will 50 Cent's Next TV Project Involve 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City?'
On Wednesday, 50 Cent went to Instagram and posted about mysterious upcoming project Vice City, leaving fans to speculate on its meaning.
50 Cent is deep in his multimedia bag. On Wednesday (March 1), the rapper, actor and entrepreneur went to Instagram to tease upcoming project Vice City. To those familiar with the Grand Theft Auto franchise, some speculated if the post was in relation to the video games, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
“I will explain this later, GLG,” 50 Cent captioned his post. “Green Light gang. This s**t is bigger than ‘Power,’ trust me. Boom.”
The Get Rich or Die Tryin' artist, legal name Curtis Jackson, has reached massive success with his television empire in the last decade, being the executive producer of STARZ's "Power Universe:" Power, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force. Jackson also serves at executive producer of BMF, along with WeTV series Hip Hop Homicides.
Last month, FOX announced that Jackson had signed on for a non-exclusive broadcast deal, where he'll “develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series” in partnership with his G-Unit Film & Television production company. While Jackson hasn't released a solo album since 2014's Animal Ambition, he shared in a recent Billboard profile that he's slated to appear on Nas and Hit-Boy's upcoming album King's Disease III.
