Yasiin Bey & Ferrari Sheppard's Dec. 99th To Perform On 'The Tonight Show'
Dec. 99th, the collaborative project between Yasiin Bey and Ferrari Sheppard, will be performing on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
According to Headline Planet, the musical act is slated to make its appearance on the late night television talk show on Thursday, December 22.
The duo's December 99th album was expected to drop on December 9 as a TIDAL exclusive, but is still yet to be released. Hopefully, their forthcoming performance hints at the possibility of it dropping before the end of the year. Four of the nine tracks from the project have already dropped, including "N.A.W.," "Local Time," "Tall Sleeves" and "Seaside Panic Room." The two also made a track together called "Hymn," but that one is not appearing on the release. You can check out the track list below.
This month also marks Yasiin's final shows in America, where he will perform at the Apollo Theater and follow that up with back to back shows at the Kennedy Center. He recently announced that he would be using the former concert to perform music from two unreleased albums: Negus In Natural Person and As Promised, his collaborative project with producer Mannie Fresh.
"I will be premiering my new album, Negus In Natural Person, and me and Mannie Fresh's project, which is called As Promised, at The Apollo on December 21," Yasiin said.
Sheppard then confirmed the news, saying that Yasiin "will perform Negus and Mannie, some songs from the albums at least. No release date for the albums. They are complete."
Yasiin also premiered a new track while he was in attendance at Boiler Room's In Appreciation of Lyricism event at Art Basel.
