Suff Daddy is the latest to drop a gem for the Baker’s Dozen series from Fat Beats. The thirteen-track release brings him full circle as a fan of the flagship store and record label during his formative years as a producer.
Embodying all things experimental, progressive and soulful, New York City-based producer Josh Pan takes listeners inward for a vivid, four-track excursion with the release of The World Within EP.

Oakland duo FR33 tackles a host of topics in the span of four tracks, from love to trauma and healing on TH3 MIND follow-up TH3 BODY.
TH3 BODY is a follow up to their first project, TH3 MIND. Listeners may be familiar with XOA’s synth-heavy, atmospheric instrumentals and MADlines’ sultry wordplay, but what this EP does differently is solidify the duo’s unique sound, all while addressing some tough content. TH3 BODY is the perfect soundtrack to reclaiming one’s divinity, especially in a world hell bent on breaking us down.

Billed as “eight tracks that infuse authentic lines with original production meant to set in a relaxed tone to end the year,” Slim Rummy’s The Ch.ills is a lyrically dense project balanced by choice soul samples. Slim’s presence conjures Odd Future’s brooding heavyweights and the slick-talking street editorial of rappers like Rahiem Supreme and LE$.

Night Swim Records co-founder Diamonn Gurr challenges the status quo with the 17th release for the label titled Witness.
Witness" is, to its core, the struggle to understand one's self identity and self happiness in such a divided world. What does it mean to be an American? There are staggeringly different answers to that question. Unfortunately, the America I have grown up in is not an accurate representation of the trials, ignorance, segregation and hate so many others have come to know as every day life. I have been a silent witness for far too long, saying little to nothing when confronted with blatant hate. I want to be the verb, not the noun.
