Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller Usher in a "Cold Summer" with DJ Kay Slay
K-Dot and Mac make it seem so easy
Something of an NYC rap staple, DJ Kay Slay's name is basically synonymous with the posse cut anthems of the early-2000s.

His forthcoming studio album, The Big Brother, will serve as his first in seven years, and is already showing signs of being as star-studded as his last three. Just a few months back, Kay Slay shared the album's first single, "Wild One," featuring Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Meet Sims. Today, he follows through with "Cold Summer," a bustling, breakneck cut with contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller and Kevin Gates. You can hear it down below. Lamar and Miller are no strangers to each other's tracks, having collaborated in 2012 on the Macadelic mixtape cut, "Fight The Feeling," and more recently, in 2016 on Miller's "God is Fair, Sexy, Nasty" off The Devine Feminine.
