Khalid Plots Sprawling US Tour in Support of 'American Teen'
Khalid Releases Soulfully Somber New Track 'Perfect'
The Texas teen takes to SoundCloud to release a new track.
Titled "Perfect," the song offers a melancholy look into one of today's biggest and youngest artists, as Khalid opens up the song by singing "I've been on my own for a long time I'm feeling kind of lonely/Nothing's fun when I'm the only one out here who knows me."

"The first song I released was a rough draft on SoundCloud. I'm leaving this on SoundCloud as well. Thank you guys, love you," the El Paso singer wrote on Twitter accompanying the track's release.

Khalid recently made an appearance on the pro-DACA Spotify playlist "No Moment For Silence." The 56-song playlist features his song "American Teen."
"With having lived in a border city, I have so many friends whose families could possibly lose their legal status in the country that they grew up in," Khalid said in a press release for the playlist. "Please stand for the DREAMers and let them know that they are not alone and that they have our support."
