Eminem Raps About COVID-19, George Floyd & More on Kid Cudi's New Single
Kid Cudi and Eminem link for the first time.
After scoring his first number one single — thanks to an assist from Travis Scott — Kid Cudi has returned with a new song. The track is called "The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady" and it features an extended verse from Eminem.
The song was first announced on Wednesday (July 8th), via a message from Cudi's daughter Vada.

The song features the two rappers using a stream of consciousness style. Eminem steals the show with his verse. He covers a lot of ground, from politics to his status as a rapper to COVID-19 to the deaths of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery. On the song Eminem raps:
"And God's my jury, so when I die, I'm not worriedPrayers to George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery
How the fuck is it that so many cops are dirty?
Stop, man, please, officer, I'm sorry
But I can't breathe when I got you on top of me
Your goddamn knee's on my carotid artery"
At one point he even says "fuck Drew Brees," which is probably a response to the New Orleans Saints quarterback's wishy-washy comments about Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the anthem.
There is no official video for the song, yet. But there is a really cool animated lyric video that came along with the song.
Kid Cudi is gearing up to release something. Last year he announced he was releasing Entergalactic, his first solo album since 2016's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'. This year, he has already released “Leader of Delinquents” and “The Scotts,” his collaboration with Travis Scott that eventually went number one.
