Miguel promises everything is going to be alight
We are only two weeks away from the release of Miguel's third solo album, War & Leisure. The singer is starting to apply pressure.
Miguel has just released the latest track from the album, the uplifting "Pineapple Skies."
The song follows the release of singles like "Sky Walker," "Shockandawe," and "Told You So." On the track, which features an addictive baseline, Miguel sings:
"Back slide, back slideYou and your bass line, bass line
Oh, I want it now, I want it now
Got it now, gonna show alright
Everything gon' be alright"
The song might sound familiar to some. Miguel played a snippet of it back in June while on Snoop Dogg's GGN YouTube show. The song was originally supposed to be the first single for War & Leisure. But then "Sky Walker" happened.
