Murs and 9th Wonder do it again.

This year was the 15th anniversary of Murs and 9th Wonder’s classic Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition. That album was their first collaborative effort.

Who knew over the years they would go on to release numerous albums together. The Final Adventure, which was released in 2012, was supposed to be their last.  But, as it turns out, they had one more in them.

Murs and 9th Wonder have released The Iliad Is Dead And The Odyssey Is Over, their seventh album together. The 12-track album features appearances from Rapsody, $ilk Money, Cojo, Pookie Blow, GQ, and more.

When Murs first announced the album, he told Ambrosia For Heads this:

We definitely didn’t rush; as evidenced by the 41-city tour I just completed promoting an album that still isn’t out. I am tremendously proud of our work and I’m looking forward to sharing it with the world. As I begin the next chapter in this epic saga I am blessed to call my career The Iliad Is Dead And The Odyssey Is Over. When 9th first said that was the title. I was like nah; but now I think it’s a perfect fit for this moment in time.
