The album features nine demo tracks from the legendary artist. All the songs were recorded on cassette at his home studio. Each song features just Prince and a piano. (Hence the title.)
It's a really cool project because you get to hear early versions of classics like “17 Days," "Purple Rain,” and "Strange Relationship."

The album came to life after Michael Howe, the Prince estate's archivist, found the project. USA Today did an interview with Howe on how the album came about.
