Raekwon Returns In True Form on New Single "This Is What It Comes To"
It was just a few weeks back that Raekwon announced his next "masterpiece." The Wild, Chef's seventh solo studio album is slated for to arrive on March 24th via EMPIRE and his own H2O imprint. Yesterday he shared the album's first single "This Is What It Comes To," finding the Wu-Tang assassin back in true form, throwing razor-sharp daggers over of a tough Ohio Players flip, confirming Rae's next outing could be one of his best to date.
The track and album announcement arrive on the heels of a fairly quiet 2016 from Raekwon, save for a few guest appearances and a joint tour with brother-in-rhyme, Ghostface Killah, who's slated to be at the helm of the next Wu-Tang project. Hopefully we'll hear his long-rumored DOOMSTARKS collaboration with MF DOOM ahead of that. Only time will tell though. Hear the first single from Raekwon's new album down below and pre-order your copy of The Wild on iTunes today ahead of its official release next month. Stay tuned for more, as there's clearly no stopping The Chef, still rocking mics with the best MCs in the game, young or old.
