Raphael Saadiq is getting ready to release his first new album in eight years.
It's been a long time coming, but legendary singer Raphael Saadiq will finally release his Jimmy Lee album. The album, his first in eight years, will drop on August 23.

The first single from the album is "Something Keeps Calling," and features an appearance from guitarist Rob Bacon.

Jimmy Lee is inspired by his brother's struggle with addiction. (Jimmy Lee is Saadiq's brother's actual name.) The album features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Brook D’Leau, and more.
