Ric Wilson & Terrace Martin Want to Make You Dance in the "Move Like This" Video [Premiere]

Ric Wilson and Terrace Martin connect for a new project that will make you want to dance.

“This record is a beautiful reminder the disco never stops. Keep smiling, keep dancing, and keep loving.”

This is what LA-based producer Terrace Martin says about They Call Me Disco, his excellent new collaborative EP with Chicago rapper Ric Wilson.

The EP, which was released on Friday, May 8h, features six feel-good jams and appearances from Malaya, Corbin Dallas, and Kiéla Adira. BJ The Chicago Kid is also a standout; he appears on "Chicago Bae," the project's first single. With the EP out today, Ric and Terrace decided to hit fans with another treat: a new video.

The two have dropped off the video for "Move Like This," which we are excited to premiere. The video features Ric practicing a form of social distancing by dancing by himself in Chicago.

Dancing is an important element to the song. In an email exchange, Ric Wilson talked about the inspiration for the track, saying:

'For ‘Move Like This,’ me and Terrace literally were watching videos from the Chicago House Festival when he was making the beat. I was dancing and this song was made for moving.

They Call Me Disco is the first new EP from Ric Wilson since 2018, when he released the jazzy BANBAMeanwhile, this is the second project to come from Terrace Martin this year, after the release of his instrumental album Sinthesize.
