“Guarding The Gates” is a song Lauryn Hill has been performing for years; this is the first time we are getting a studio version.

Motown Records has released the soundtrack for the upcoming Queen & Slim movie. And on the soundtrack is a new solo song from Lauryn Hill.

The track is called “Guarding The Gates” and if you been to a Lauryn show over the last decade you should be familiar: Hill has performed a version of "Guarding the Gates" at numerous live shows. This is the first time we're getting a studio version.

The Queen & Slim soundtrack also features new songs from Vince Staples, 6LACK, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Blood Orange, EARTHGANG, and more.
