What to Do in NYC This Weekend

With Labor Day long gone and the heavy winds pulling up, we’re calling the end of summer early and getting in the last of our warm weather activities.

It seems like it got cold suspiciously fast in the city, so now it's time to bid farewell to summer 2024. We definitely had a blast, and we hope you did too, but that doesn’t mean that the fun stops now. As always, we’ve got a great list of activities you can participate in to get the last of this awesome season out of your system.

Roll Bounce at Jackie Robinson Playground

Outdoor movies are a staple for a great summer, and if you haven’t been yet, now is the perfect time. Whether you’re riding solo or bringing the crew, you’re sure to enjoy a nostalgic classic on a beautiful night.

It’s never a real New York City summer without a block party, and with an Afrocentric twist, this is the perfect closer for the summer. Not to mention, the delicious aroma of jollof wafting through the air is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with family and friends this weekend.
