New Jack Swing veteran and legendary singer-songwriter Al B. Sure! is currently recovering after being in a coma for two months, as revealed by his son, Al B. Sure Jr., on Sunday (October 30).
In a birthday post thanking his followers for the birthday wishes, Jr. also gave an update on his father's health, sharing that the "Nite and Day" vocalist has been released from the hospital.
“Thank your every 1 for the bday wishes!! Been kinda out of it and in my own world!! @officialalbsure POPS BEEN hospitalized FOR 2 months and he just made it out!!," Al B. Sure Jr. wrote on Instagram.
He added: “Thank u for all the concerns and worries about my family! Today is my day but this is for my pops! We need u big homie!! I love all of y’all! And appreciate all of u! And every 1 I touched and shared energy with around the world on my krazy journey! This for y’all!! and to my family I love y’all so much!"
On Monday (October 31), Al B. Sure! confirmed the reports, and tweeted that he'd "share more" about his health woes soon.

In June, Brown had previously assured fans in an Instagram post that he had successfully undergone surgery. The artist last gave an update about his health in August.
"I’d 1st like to say a very humble thank you for the prayers, positive thoughts and we’ll wishes as I go through this medical journey," he wrote on Instagram. "Waking up daily to monitors, wires and machines keeping you stable is a new experience.”
