Her next conquest is going to be network TV.
CBS has greenlit four new dramas to their network. One of those shows is a racially charged drama called Red Line.

The show will chronicle the occurrences that happen after a white Chicago cop shoots and kills a black doctor, by mistake. Red Line will unfold from the perspective of three families involved with the case.

Red Line is being executive produced by DuVernay, Greg Berlanti, who is a producer on Supergirl, and Sarah Schechter, who is working on Black Lightning.
The other show that CBS picked up that sounds very interesting is Main Justice, which is a show based on the life of former Attorney General Eric Holder.
