The 24K Magic artist took to Twitter to request that the football organization curate a halftime show featuring nothing but Atlanta rap, shouting out Outkast, Jermaine Dupri, T.I., Gucci Mane, Lil Jon, and Jeezy.
“. @NFL you have the opportunity to celebrate incredible Hip Hop Artist from Atlanta Next year.”— Bruno Mars (@Bruno Mars) 1517862205
“. @NFL Outkast. T.I Gucci, lil jon, Jeezy, Jermaine Dupri just to name a few. it would be the best party Tv has ever seen!”— Bruno Mars (@Bruno Mars) 1517862274
"S**t I just wanna help curate that show, and I'll only charge like a billion," Mars said before adding "all jokes aside please let's make that happen."
If NFL did decide to go that route there's plenty of talent they could choose from. Not only could they go with Mars' suggestions but they could also go with Atlanta's beloved trap trio Migos, among a number of other contemporary rappers from the city.
But Outkast and Dupri might be a tough pair to get.
In a recent interview Dupri claimed that he was more influential to Atlanta than the rap duo.
"Depending on what type of hip-hop you talking about, we come from two different places in hip-hop," Dupri said on The Breakfast Club on Power 105. "As far as culture, me. I brought people to Atlanta that had never seen Atlanta. I showed everybody in the world Magic City…I was the first person to start throwing money in the club."
"I had to pay for all the magazines to come to Atlanta…no one was paying attention to what’s going on…as far as culture goes and having parties, bringing Puff, bringing Envy and Clue to Atlanta, that was all me," he adds.
