100% of proceeds will be donated to essential workers in cities hit hardest by the pandemic.
Def Comedy Jam is rallying a massive roster of all-star comedians to aid essential workers in coronavirus hotspots.

According to NME, Healing Through Laughter will be hosted by Cedric The Entertainer with sounds from Kid Capri. The one-off live-streamed special will feature appearances from Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, JB Smoove, Chris Tucker, Mike Epps, Adele Givens, Bill Bellamy, D.L. Hughley, Lunelle, Ashima Franklin, Michael Blackson, and somehow, more. It's unclear whether there will be actual performances (given the nationwide lockdown and all,) but this could, at the very least, make for one helluva Zoom call.

The live-stream airs tonight (Sunday, April 5th) at 10pm EST on Twitch and Facebook. Donations are being accepted via GoFundMe ahead of the event and throughout it. All proceeds go to LIFE Camp, a Queens-based non-profit working to purchase and distribute supplies (hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks) to essential workers in underserved communities on the frontlines of the pandemic.
