Reboot season is back in business. On Thursday, Diddy posted a casting call for the return of the iconic Making the Band series. This time around, his sons Justin Combs, Christian Combs, and Quincy Brown are joining him.
"The Combs Cartel are coming to a city near you," they exclaimed.
Auditions will take place late February and March in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, and New York City. Atlanta's auditions go down Friday and Saturday, February 28-29. Houston's dates are Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8. Charlotte hosts their round of auditions on March 13-14. New York City's auditions take place the following weekend, on March 21-22. Venues will be announced at a later date.
Diddy officially announced the series' return in July 2019.
"I've made my decision," he tweeted, along with a three-minute video. "#MakingTheBand is coming back! This will be a global talent search, upload your auditions now using #MTBCasting!"
The series, which featured four different competitions and 12 total seasons, launched the careers of groups like Danity Kane and Day 26.
"We're not settling for just anybody," Quincy said. "If you feel like you've got what it takes to make it in this industry, y'all know how our pops does it."
Original cast member, creative director, and choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson will also return for the reboot. Stay tuned for more news regarding the reboot.
