DMX Returns to the Stage in Las Vegas After Two-Month Stint in Rehab
During the set, he thanked the audience for their support.
DMX's comeback tour is back on. According to TMZ, the legendary MC hit the stage at the Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas on Sunday night. The performance marked his first on-stage appearance since a short stint in rehab following his release from prison. According to a statement from his management team, the decision was a precaution to avoid potential relapse. The tour was in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut album, It's Dark and Hell is Hot.
TMZ reports that his set started around 2 am and that his set included classics like "Ruff Ryders Anthem," "Where the Hood At?," and "X Gon' Give It To Ya." During the set, he stopped to thank his supporters. "When you fall down, get back up," he reportedly said. "Everyone here has been through some shit and you never know what God is willing to do for you until you need him to do something for you."
