Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest and Solange Will Headline 2017 Panorama Festival
Last week, two of the year's biggest festivals, Governors Ball and Coachella, announced star-studded line-ups for their 2017 program. In all honesty, they're remarkably similar rosters and despite the natural impulse, you won't be missing much by opting for one over the other.
Panorama, however, might just have you yearning for an east coast retreat this summer. Today the NYC festival announced the line-up for its second run at Randall's Island with big names galore. This year's installment will host comeback performances from both A Tribe Called Quest (their first stateside gig since backing Kanye on the Yeezus tour) and Frank Ocean (his first confirmed US show since 2014.) Solange will co-headline night one of Panorama with Ocean, but the bill also features psych-rockers, MGMT, as well as Tyler The Creator, DJ Shadow, Noname, Jamila Woods, Towkio, 6lack, Isaiah Rashad and plenty more.
The festival will run the weekend of July 28th. For the full line-up, peep the graphic down below. A date for ticket sales has yet to be mentioned, but we imagine they'll go live within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates and visit Panorama's site for more info.
