HBO has also renewed the Dwayne Johnson-led Ballers for a fourth season.
"We're thrilled that the summer lineup of Ballers and Insecure connected with our viewers out of the gate," Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO programming, said in a statement. "We're so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows."
As fans of the show have seen on the latest season, Rae has returned to the world of dating and the single life is a bit of a challenge for her. Rae also appeared on the recently-released music video for Jay-Z's "Moonlight" alongside Tiffany Haddish, Tessa Thompson, Jerrod Carmichael, Lil Rel Howery, Lakeith Stanfield, and Hannibal Buress.

The video reimagines the TV series Friends with an all-black cast, where Ross (portrayed by Carmichael) is trying to convince all his friends to get dressed for a fancy party. The video also recreates the opening sequence where they are all dancing in the fountain, but instead of playing Rembrandts' "I'll Be There For You" they use Whodini's iconic single "Friends."
In a behind the scenes clip for the video the cast speaks on their involvement and portraying the Friends characters.
