Watch Ja Rule Mispronounce Greek Food Dishes In Bizarre Local Restaurant Commercial

Ja Rule did the commercial as a way to help the small business during this time.

The internet is reacting to a bizarre commercial that has surfaced featruing Ja Rule promoting a local greek restaurant.

A little over a minute long, the commercial finds Ja promoting a Los Angeles Greek deli named Papa Cristo's Greek Grill. Superimposed in front of gyros — he declares that Papa Cristo has the "best motherf**king gyros" — and scenes from the restaurant, the rapper attempts to pronounce a number of Greek dishes the deli offers including tzatziki, oktapodakia, and avgolemono soup.

"Come on down to Papa Cristo, you can't even pronounce the food, it's so go**amn good," the rapper says toward the end of the video.

As CNN noted, the commercial is actually for a new TBS reality TV show called Celebrity Show-Off where, "Each week, celebrities face. off to see who can produce the most compelling content from their homes." Ja's commercial is a part of a show he's doing called Pitch Perfect. In the video below, he explains how the commercial was inspired by his want to help out small businesses.

A number of people have since reacted to the video online.

And, of course, even 50 Cent had something to say about it.

Ja has since responded to the commercial's spread on social media.

In related news, Ja said he wanted to square off against 50 in a Verzuz battle. While Fat Joe was broadcasting on Instagram Live with Swizz Beatz a couple months back, Ja called Joe to deliver the news. “Ja Rule is saying he loves hip-hop first and foremost,” Joe told Swizz. “He wants to do this for the culture.”

Unfortunately, 50 isn't interested in participating.
