On a recent episode of Jeopardy! Alex Trebek read a clue referencing a character from Dave Chappelle's seminal television series Chappelle's Show.

"Crack addict Tyrone Biggums was a recurring character on this sketch comedy series," Trebek said, with contestant Regis correctly responding with "What is Chappelle's Show?"

Twitter not only found the reference funny but the Trebek's seriousness in reading the clue. After all, this is the character known for his hilarious catchphrase "Shazam," as well as just being one of the more notable recurring characters from the comedy sketch show.

Recently, Chappelle crashed a Madlib DJ set alongside Yasiin Bey.

"Listen, this is the beginning of a new day. This is the kindest conspiracy," Chappelle told those in attendance at the performance. "It don’t matter what anybody says. All we gotta do is commit to being kind to one another."

From there, Bey and Chappelle passed the mic back and forth between each other, with the former rapping and the latter making jokes while also offering advice. But a standout moment from the performance came toward the end, when Chappelle stage dived into the audience, which was followed by the comedian leading them in a lively rendition of The Fugees’ "Killing Me Softly."

A couple of months back Jeopardy! had a clue that referenced bass virtuoso Thundercat.

"At Coachella in 2017, Thundercat did a version of ‘What a Fool Believes’ with this Doobie Brother," Trebek read. One of the other contestants then correctly answered by responding with Michael McDonald.

Thundercat shared his excitement of being included in the answer on Twitter, writing: "Dude. I was a jeopardy question today. Hell yeah."
