Kathy Griffin Criticizes Kevin Hart For Never Mentioning Trump: "That's a Pussy Move Because He's a Black Man"

Kathy Griffin has some harsh words for Kevin Hart

Last year, comedian Kathy Griffin got into hot water after posting a picture where she was holding a bloody President Donald Trump head.

She quickly apologized for the stunt. However, Griffin has taken back that apology. And she has not stopped being vocal.

On Wednesday she spoke to USA Today about the initial pushback of the photo.

She said:

Every day that passes, more people realize not only was my photo literally harmless, but completely legal...The nice thing is that, after a year, several folks who were afraid to support me are [doing so] now, and that obviously signifies a real sea change.

The interesting part came when, seemingly out of nowhere, Griffin threw Kevin Hart under the bus for not being hard enough on Trump, saying that him not going at the president is a "pussy move" because he's a "black man." 

I do feel like this is such an anxiety-ridden time for everyone that there is a thirst for all kinds of comedy...And look, if you want to not hear about Trump at all, go see Kevin Hart. He doesn't even mention Trump. I personally think that's a pussy move because he's a black man. But I guess he's selling more tickets than I ever will.

Kevin Hart has talked openly about avoiding the Trump Elephant in the room. Speaking to Variety, Kevin Hart said:

. When you jump into that political realm you’re alienating some of your audience...The world today, it’s really not a laughing matter. It’s serious. I don’t want to draw attention to things I don’t have nice things to say about.
