Louis C.K. has officially launched his comeback campaign.

Today, the ousted comedian released a new stand-up special, Sincerely, Louis C.K., on his website. The set marks his first special since a New York Times investigation looked into the charges of sexual misconduct against the comedian by five former colleagues. After the report broke, C.K. admitted the allegations were true and insisted he would "step back and take a long time to listen." But just months later, after his film was shelved and any TV deal he had in place evaporated seemingly overnight, C.K. was back on stage, taking jabs at survivors of the Parkland shooting and making light of the accusations.

His latest special arrives with a note from the comedian, delineating two types of people: those who "need to laugh when things get shitty" and those who "feel that it’s important to put aside laughter in times of difficulty." He goes on to identify himself as belonging to the first category, but claims neither "is right over the other." He caps it off by wishing viewers "all the peace you can grab in this shitty shitty time."

Is it enough? Absolutely not. But you can bet he's about to get these quarantine streams.
