The latest star to join the comic-book-turned-big-screen-giant's decades-long cinematic spectacle is Mahershala Ali. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Moonlight star has been cast as Blade in Marvel's upcoming reboot of the vampire-slaying franchise, despite earlier reports of the studio eying Wesley Snipes for a reprisal of his role from the original trilogy.

It won't be Ali's first run with the studio.
