Mike Tyson & Evander Holyfield Are Joining Forces to Sell Ear Edibles

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield have partnered for a line of cannabis gummies dubbed "Holy Ears" through Tyson's TYSON 2.0 company.

According to boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, it's the "most wonderful time of the ear." On Monday (November 14), the once rivals officially announced their new edibles line "Holy Ears," consisting of THC and Delta-8-infused gummies courtesy of  Tyson's cannabis company TYSON 2.0.

For now, "Holy Ears" will come in one flavor, dubbed 'Cherry Punch Pie,' a nod to Tyson and Holyfield's legendary boxing careers. Tyson first pitched the idea for a gummies line to Holyfield on his podcast Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson in 2019.

"People keep asking, ‘How are you gonna forgive something like that?’ I say, everything that ever happened, at some point in time, I did it. Mike bit me, I say I bit somebody too – it just wasn’t on TV. I bit a guy in his shoulder, he dropped me, and I didn’t know when you had a concussion, you’ll bite too,” Holyfield said at the time.

“You might be in business because we’re going to make some holy ears. Some edibles [of the ear] that got a bite taken out of ’em,” Tyson replied.

The proposal came over 20 years after Tyson bit a piece from Holyfield's right ear in an infamous June 1997 heavyweight rematch, spitting the chunk to the ground. Along with losing his WBA heavyweight title for the stunt, Tyson was disqualified, fined $3 million and banned from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for a year.

Tyson explained to Benzinga why Holyfield was not a part of his previous edibles line Mike Bites.

"At first it didn't work out. I think he [Holyfield] thought it came from a disrespectful place,” Tyson said. “However, his son explained to him that we weren't being disrespectful and he got the idea. And we're all together now.”
