In Day Shift, directed by J.J. Perry, Foxx stars as a vampire hunter who disguises his nighttime gig as pool cleaner during the day.
After premiering at Tribeca Film Festival earlier this month, Jennifer Lopez documentary Halftime will also release on Netflix. Directed by Amanda Micheli, the film chronicles Lopez's career as a pop star and film icon, per Variety.
Written and co-produced by Lena Waithe, Beauty follows a young singer on the verge of stardom in the 1980s. The film stars Niecy Nash – whose hit TNT series Claws ended in February – Giancarlo Esposito and Gracie Marie Bradley, who plays the film's protagonist.
Netflix will offer the remainder of its 2022 films later in the year, including Knives Out 2, The Cloned Tyrone and Wendell & Wild.
