Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Are Expecting Their First Child Together

Previously dodging baby rumors on social media, Rihanna has now confirmed that she is expecting her first baby with A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna fans might have to wait a little longer for her next album. Over the weekend, the singer-mogul and rapper-boyfriend A$AP Rocky were photographed in a Harlem shoot by photographer Diggzy who posted Rihanna's baby bump on their Instagram.

First confirmed on People, Rihanna wore a long pink jacket, unbuttoned towards the bottom to expose her baby bump. Both Rocky and Rihanna appear to be overjoyed, and last May, Rocky spoke with GQ about his girlfriend, calling her "the love of my life".

"[It's] So much better when you got 'the One.' She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She's the One."

He also said that becoming a father was in his destiny. "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very," Rocky said.

The two were confirmed to be dating in November 2020 after nearly a decade of friendship and first collaborating on the "Cockiness (Love It)" remix in 2011. In July 2020, Rocky was featured in Rihanna's Fenty Beauty campaign and the two were featured in a GQ 'Face to Face' interview segment.

In March 2020, Rihanna spilled to British Vogue that she was ready to start a family regardless if a father was present.

"I feel like society makes me want to feel like, 'Oh, you got it wrong …' They diminish you as a mother if there's not a dad in your kids' lives," said Rihanna. "But the only thing that matters is happiness; that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That's the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love."
