Run The Jewels is Prepping Nike SB Dunk Collaboration
Nike has teamed up with hip-hop duo Run The Jewels for an exclusive SB Dunk High release. The shoe is rumored to drop in April 2023.
Run The Jewels is headed to Nike. On Friday (November 19), the duo, comprised of El-P and Killer Mike, shared a first look at their Nike SB Dunk sneakers, both in high and low form. The high version features a two-tone upper black and fuchsia upper with jewel-styled Swooshes and neon yellow shoelaces. It also has special lace locks designed after the duo's signature two-hand logo. The Run The Jewels x Nike SB Dunks collaboration is rumored to release on April 20, 2023, also Killer Mike's 48th birthday.

Killer Mike and El-P were last seen wearing the Nike Dunks during a recent performance in Mexico City. The duo is currently promoting their new remix album, RTJ CU4TRO, which features Latin artists including Akapellah, Baco Exu Do Blues, the Mexican Institute of Sound, Sarah La Morena, Trooko and more.
El-P gave a statement about the album upon its release in October.
"It’s a reimagining of RTJ4 through the lens of collaboration and a fusing of numerous musical cultures and influences … a rare chance for us to connect, create and be inspired by/with people who we may never have had the chance to get down with if we weren’t lucky enough to be in a position to put it all together.”
