Earlier this week, a trailer for the update arrived with a grip of familiar voices, including the RZA, Danny Trejo, Orange Is The New Black's Dascha Polanco, and Vince Staples, as the film's lead, Vinz. Directed by comic artist Guillaume “Run” Renard and Shōjirō Nishimi (who worked on the iconic anime film, Akira, and serves as the film's lead animator) MFKZ is set in a not-too-distant Los Angeles and centers on the superpowered crimefighting misadventures of Vinz and Angelino. The film is slated for a limited US release, screening on October 11th and October 16th in select theaters.
