The New DMX Album Features A New Track With Nas and Jay-Z

DMX reunites Nas and Jay-Z for his forthcoming Exodus album.

Last week, the album cover and release date of the new DMX album, Exodus, was revealed. Friends and former collaborators like Swizz Beatz and Nas shared the news. On Thursday, Swizz Beatz and DMX's team held a listening party over Zoom to play the new project. One of the most talked-about moments of the project is a collaboration between X, Nas, and Jay-Z. All three artists have appeared on multiple tracks on their own accord, but all three on the same song is obviously something to look forward to.

"The new DMX album is incredible," said DJ Mr. Peter Parker. "Brought me to tears on the Heavy Hitters Zoom call." Parker revealed the album features Usher, two appearances from Nas, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, The Lox, and U2. According to Tony Hanes of DA DOME, the album's previously-reported collaboration with Pop Smoke didn't make the album "because of a situation."

Another Twitter user noted that the track would be the second track out of ten on the album and that the song in particular could also feature Jadakiss.

"I like DMX new album," he continued. "I can't speak for anyone else at the listening party but the DJs I saw seem to like it. It's short & to the point. The album is 10 songs of heat to me. You have to judge it for yourself on May 28th but DMX would be proud."

Stay tuned for further updates on the new album.
