The Threat is Revealed in the Final Trailer for Jordan Peele's 'Nope'
On Thursday, Jordan Peele shared the official full-length trailer for his forthcoming film Nope, which releases in theaters on July 22.
It's lights, camera, action in the newest film from Jordan Peele. On Thursday morning, the filmmaker, comedian and actor shared the official full-length trailer for his third directed film Nope, which stars Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya and Steven Yeun.
The trailer shows ranch owners and siblings James and Jill Haywood (played by Kaluuya and Palmer, respectively) who encounter a mysterious existence in the sky, one that kills their father, played by legendary actor Keith David. While mourning their father's loss, the Haywood siblings decide to set up security cameras at their ranch with help from Kevin (Brandon Perea) and UFO expert Craig (Michael Wincott).
“Ain’t nobody gonna get what we gonna get,” says Jill. “Undeniable proof of aliens on camera.”

But it seems like the suspected aliens are up to their scheme, wreaking havoc on the ranch and chasing the Haywood siblings with an enormous flying saucer.
“I think we pissed them off,” says Jill.
In press releases for the film, Nope has been described as “a new pop nightmare” and “an expansive horror epic.” Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira, Donna Mills and Andrew Patrick Ralston are also in the film.
During CinemaCon in April, Peele explained the meaning of the film's title.
“I love a rapt audience saying, ”Nope!’ or, ‘Get out the house!’ I love to encourage that interaction because that’s what’s giving the audience a unique experience,” Peele said, per Entertainment Weekly. “Rollercoasters aren’t fun alone. Being scared isn’t fun alone. You need that energy.”
Nope lands into theaters on July 22.
