T.I. Says He Felt "Exploited" By Church Staff At Kanye West's Sunday Service in Atlanta
On the latest episode of ExpediTIously, T.I. claims he was "accosted" by staff upon entering New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
Kanye West's Sunday Service tour continues to spark discord in the community. After its latest stop — at Atlanta's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church on September 15 — one of the event's most famous attendees has expressed his displeasure. This time, however, the backlash wasn't aimed at Kanye, but the church's pastor, Rev. Jamal Bryant.
On his latest episode of ExpediTIously, which featured Killer Mike, T.I. accuses the church of starting an additional round of offerings after the pastor saw he and 2 Chainz enter the sanctuary.

"I'm telling you, they already raised an offering! Jamal already raised an offering! When we sat down," T.I. claims, "there was a whole new agenda...There are three multi-millionaires in the front row. It's like they rung the red bell at The Player's Club!"
Reverend Bryant subsequently responded on Instagram, listing the church's charitable efforts in the city, as well as saying "there was NO money grab intention...I hope we can come together “expeditiously” to find common ground to build. I want to invite both of you to come and give church another chance. I promise you I’m more interested in your life than your life savings!"
The two seemed to have patched things up. T.I. answered Bryant's response with "Nothing but Love and Respect for you...I’m still shoulder to shoulder in the struggle with you...Our views may differ on some matters, but we are both aligned and move in unison on behalf of our people."
