The SNL legend was joined by a score of fellow alum on his fifth round of hosting.

Last night, Will Ferrell returned to Studio 8H to join Saturday Night Live's prestigious "five-timers" club.

After crashing Alec Baldwin's Trump press conference as a shameless Gordon Sondland in the show's cold open, Ferrell had his own pair of invaders during last night's monologue. Scanning the crowd, the Anchorman star spotted Ryan Reynolds and quickly became obsessed with the actor's presence, nervously breaking into a Tracy Morgan impression before the actual comedian stepped onstage.

Later in the episode, the cast (and mostly alum) staged a mock-up of this week's Democratic Debate, featuring Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris, Fred Armisen as Michael Bloomberg, Larry David as Bernie Sanders, and Rachel Dratch as Amy Klobuchar.

Following next week's Turkey Day break, the show will return on December 7th with Jennifer Lopez as host and DaBaby as musical guest. And on December 21st, the year's final show will feature Eddie Murphy's first appearance on the stage in 35 years with musical support from Lizzo.
