Watch 'Abbott Elementary' Star Tyler James Williams Freestyle Over GloRilla's "F.N.F."

While visiting radio show Sway in the Morning, Abbott Elementary actor Tyler James Williams freestyled to GloRilla's "F.N.F."

Mr. Eddie got bars. Abbott Elementary actor Tyler James Williams recently visited radio show Sway in the Morning, where he gave hosts Sway Calloway and Heather B a surprise freestyle over GloRilla's summertime viral hit "F.N.F." While his bars were unexpectedly explicit, Williams stepped up to the mic and maintained the flow for a minute and a half.

The Everybody Hates Chris alum is no stranger to rapping – he's visited Sway's Universe twice before to showcase his skills. His last visit was in 2015, freestyling over Drake's "6 God" from his commercial mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late.

In 2012, a then-teenage Williams starred in Disney Channel musical film Let It Shine with Trevor Jackson (Grown-ish) and Coco Jones (Bel-Air), a hip-hop adaptation of Edmond Rostand's 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac. If you missed it, watch Williams take part in a kiddie 8 Mile-style battle from the film.

Williams recently spoke with Bustle about his experience as a child actor.

"As a child, it’s really weird when your audience tells you that you did such a good job at something that they don’t want you to do anything else,” he said. “I knew I could fall into this trap of child actors and [be] known for one thing and never work again and just be a nostalgia artist, and I was hyperaware of that. I think I overcompensated. I was really calculated in everything I did.”
