Watch Anderson .Paak Stop By 'Sesame Street' & Bring Holiday Cheer to Elmo & Cookie Monster

Sesame Street teased a January 13th appearance from Anderson .Paak with a new song called "H Is for Holiday" alongside Elmo and Cookie Monster.

Beef between Elmo and Rocco has gone viral this month, but an upcoming Sesame Streetappearance from Anderson. Paak will bring holiday cheer. The Silk Sonic member becomes the newest artist to be featured on the long-running children's series, joining Elmo (not Philly Elmo) and Cookie Monster for a song of "H Is for Holiday." A teaser for the song was released today, but the Sesame Street episode will premiere on January 13th.

The vocalist gives a rundown on holidays where he'll "be with friends and family" from Martin Luther King Jr. Day to Día de los Muertos. Anderson .Paak has plenty reason to celebrate in 2022, getting Oscar buzz for his track "Fire in the Sky" from 2021 Marvel film Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. Silk Sonic is also up for Record of the Year and Best R&B Performance for "Leave the Door Open" at the 2022 Grammy Awards, which has been postponed.

Paak also plans to relaunch his annual .Paak House Charity Concert this year in his hometown of Oxnard, California. Formally held at MacArthur Park in L.A., the singer plans on bringing the concert to Oxnard College Park for safety concerns. While .Paak House was cancelled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Paak recently spoke with People about resuming the music festival.

"I think it was the perfect opportunity to bring it home. My niece kept telling me, 'You need to do more stuff in the city. You haven't been there in so long.' I was like, 'All right, I got to bring it back home before they start talking about me'" he said. "They'll be like, 'Yeah man, you ain't sh—. Where Bruno at?'" he jokes. "But Oxnard has always shown me love. It was one of the first places that gave me a key to the city and my own day."
