Larry David is as Insufferable as Ever in The Hilarious Trailer for a New Season of Curb Your Enthusiasm
Season 11 of Curb Your Enthusiasm will premiere on October 24th on HBO.
Larry David is back and as insufferable as he's ever been in the first trailer for the eleventh(!) season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Clocking in at roughly two minutes long, the clip previews a number of very Larry scenarios from the incoming season. Questioning the importance of eye contact while toasting? Check. Using his baldness to discredit the effectiveness of prayer? Check. Taking offense to the discussion of his towels and declaring himself far too intelligent to suffer through traffic with the rest of us? Check and check. The trailer also confirms the return of old faces, including JB Smoove's Leon Black and Richard Kind's Cousin Andy, as well as Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Richard Lewis, and one-time Larry David understudy, Jon Hamm. There's also at least one guest appearance from Seth Rogen, who seems to be in the wings of a movie set dressed as a pirate during his encounter with the show's increasingly problematic lead.
The new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will land almost two years since its last, which, somehow, marked two decades on the air for the unscripted HBO comedy pillar. In its previous season, Larry spent most of the 10-episode order plotting and eventually exacting revenge on a new rival (Mocha Joe,) and coaching Hamm on how to emulate his particular brand of pettiness in preparation for a new role. He also conveniently dons a MAGA hat when he notices how Trump paraphernalia can help him avoid interacting with most people. Go figure.
