Peacock hit series Bel-Air has released an official season two teaser, welcoming back cousin-rivals Will Smith and Carlton Banks.
The Banks Family is returning to Bel-Air. Peacock has unveiled a new trailer for season two of the hit series, reintroducing characters Will Smith (Jabari Banks), Carlton Banks (Olly Sholotan), Hilary Banks (Coco Jones), Jazz (Jordan L. Jones) along with Viv and Phil Banks (Cassandra Freeman and Adrian Holmes, respectively).
Season two of the Peacock series continues with Will "at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what what he's learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence."
"He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season. We’ll see Will and Carlton’s brotherhood start to evolve as they grow closer, but still challenge each other about their differences," the statement reads.
Also centered in the series' return is Hilary, who evolves her career as an influencer while balancing a relationship with Jazz while Viv and Phil reconnect in their marriage after the latter pulls from his campaign as district attorney.
“In season two, the show will continue to find ways to push the envelope and feel refreshing and unique while also honoring the heart of the legacy series," showrunner Carla Banks Waddles said in a statement. "Last season was very much about the introduction to the Banks family world, and this season we get to go deeper with some of the themes we touched on— What it truly means to be a family even when it’s challenging. How do you rebuild trust within a family? How do you find your own way, your individualism within a family?"
Bel-Air premieres February 23 with three episodes at launch and new episodes streaming Thursdays.
