'Insecure' Won't Be Returning to HBO Until 2020
Issa Rae's talents as an actress, writer, and producer have made her a sought after figure in the entertainment industry. And demands are high. For that reason, Insecure won't be returning to HBO with its fourth season until 2020, according to Vulture.
The final episode of the third season of Insecure aired in September of 2018. The show only contains eight episodes per season. Holding off until 2020, this will be the longest break the show has taken since it first aired back in 2016. Rae, who executive produces Insecure, is thought to be taking a creative hiatus from the show in order to return with a fresh perspective.
