"We Participated In A Lot Of Crimes": Tekashi 69 Testifies Against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods Crew

The embattled Brooklyn MC will be home on August 2.
Tekashi 6ix9ine will be a free man sooner than later. According to the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator, the state will release the Brooklyn rapper from custody on August 2.
Originally, the Brooklyn rapper faced 47 years to life for racketeering charges. After extensive testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, Brooklyn Judge Paul Engelmayer granted him a lighter sentence.

Back in September, Tekashi's former manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan received a 15-year sentence behind bars. Jordan pleaded guilty to firearms charges in connection with two separate incidents. Jordan took part in the November 2017 assault on Trippie Redd, as well as the shooting that targeted Chief Keef in June 2018.
Judge Engelmayer will sentence Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Kintea "Kooda B" McKenzie on April 1. In October, Ellison was found guilty of maiming, assault with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping in aid of racketeering charges. Ellison and his attorney claim the kidnapping was a publicity stunt. Jordan allegedly paid McKenzie $20,000 to take part in the Times Square shooting.

Upon his release, Tekashi will complete his $10 million record deal with 10K Projects. TMZ reports the terms of the deal include two albums--one in English and one in Spanish.
At the time of his sentencing, Tekashi had already served 13 months in custody. Due to safety concerns, Tekashi will seek extensive protection from law enforcement and security measures.
