J. Cole Drops Off Latest Verse On Lil Durk’s “All My Life”

J. Cole and Lil Durk have collaborated on new single “All My Life,” which appears on Durk’s upcoming album Almost Healed.

Chicago and North Carolina connect on new Lil Durk and J. Cole collaboration “All My Life.” The single, which appears on Durk’s upcoming album Almost Healed, which has been delayed to May 26 due to YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s new album Richest Opp, which dropped on Friday (May 12). A Steve Cannon-directed music video for “All My Life” was also released, showing Durk and Cole on the block and backed by children.

While YoungBoy wasted no time trolling Durk, “All My Life” is being praised as Cole’s best yet, with the song also being the first link-up between him and Durk. “Lately I just wanna show up and body some shit,” Cole raps on the song. “Always been a lil’ mathematician, lately it’s cash I’m gettin’/I’m losin’ count of these bags, I been movin’ too fast/Hard times don’t last, ’member when cops harassed.”

“All My Life” makes Cole’s latest single since “On the Street” with J-Hope, a member of the K-Pop group BTS, in March. While Cole’s last solo album was 2021’s The Off-Season, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album, he appeared on 2022 Dreamville mixtape D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. Last month, the 38-year-old co-headlined Dreamville Festival along with Drake and Usher.
