Kendrick Lamar Announces North American Tour With SZA
Kendrick was formerly SZA’s Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate, and she appears on his new ‘GNX’ album, too.
In the increasingly cynical world we live in today, it’s good to be reminded that sometimes, dope stuff just happens. Today, we got that kind of reminder when Kendrick Lamarannounced a new joint tour with SZA.
Using his social media accounts, K. Dot uploaded a tour poster and announced that pre-orders for the tour would begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The trek will start in Minneapolis, MN on April 19, and it will conclude at Washington, DC’s Northwest Stadium on June 18.
This news arrives about a week-and-a-half after Kendrick and SZA reunited on K. Dot’s new album, GNX. For the project, SZA jumps on “Luther” and “Gloria,” adding some melodic flourishes to an album of hard raps. She’s also supposed to be dropping a new album soon, so be on the lookout.
