Alchemist released the projects on special edition vinyl, which sold out shortly.

One of the underground's most critically-acclaimed beatsmiths has just released some fresh new products. On Monday, The Alchemist announced a new project, The Good Book, Pt. 1 and 2. The first disk is titled "Joyful Noise," the second "God's Work." Both projects are available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp.

Joyful Noise is largely instrumental. However, the featured guest spots are bonafide underground A-listers. Action Bronson, Domo Genesis, and Blue appear on "The G Code." Six tracks later, the late Prodigy and Roc Marciano appear on "In Heaven's Home."

God's Work is a bit more feature-heavy. Royce Da 5'9 appears on "Pray For You," while Griselda Records' Westside Gunn and Conway appear on "A Thousand Birds." Meyhem Lauren, Your Old Droog, Durag Dynasty, and Big Twins also make appearances. Additionally, the project features a Mobb Deep record, "Try My Hand," for diehard fans.

The beat titles are obviously religious-themed. Alchemist himself designed the collage artwork featured on both projects. According to his Instagram post announcing the projects, two more EPs produced by Budgie are coming in the near future.

In 2019, Alchemist worked with a handful of artists, most extensively Action Bronson. The two released Lamb Over Rice in mid-November. Additionally, Alc worked with The Cool Kids for a three-track EP Layups. On his own, the producer released Yacht Rock 2, featuring frequent guests like Bronson and Griselda Records.

Each new project is on sale for $30 on Bandcamp. Vinyl copies are currently sold out.
