Ghanaian artist Amaarae reintroduces herself with the arrival of her new visual for her single "Like It." In the past, Amaarae has collaborated with artists such as Odunsi and Santi. Additionally, she has also worked with Wande Coal and Stonebwoy.
In the clip for "Like It" she wanders in a wacky, alternate universe. As the video continues viewers are taken on an eccentric ride through the highs and lows of searching for the unobtainable. As Amaarae explores the unknown she spots strippers, drag queens, a child, clowns and more.
Inspiration for the video comes from American Horror Story and Bates Motel. In an email Amaarae shares that the visual represents "the loss of innocence and a need to chase one's desire within the matrix of life."
